As an FBI agent parachuted into the unclassified cases department, Dana Scully must report in detail on Agent Mulder's activities on the usefulness and credibility of his work on so-called paranormal cases.

Gillian Anderson began her career in the theatre. In the 1990s, she became popular thanks to her role as Dana Scully in the series The X-Files, and won a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award. She appears in Hannibal and American Gods between 2013 and 2017. In 2019, she began playing in the Netflix comedy-drama Sex Education.

During her career, she has had 55 nominations for Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

Gillian Anderson is also the co-writer of the book WE: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere. She's supporting numerous charities and humanitarian organizations.
