In Naples, two clans of the Camorra are fighting for control of the city's various traffics. Donna Imma is the wife of the boss of one of the two clans. She tries to succeed her husband when he is imprisoned, waiting for her son to take his place.
Maria Pia Calzone is an Italian actress. She graduated from the Experimental Center of Cinema (a foundation for teaching, research and cinematographic experimentation) and in literature from the University of Naples - L'Orientale. She is best known for her role as Immacolata Imma Savastano in the series Gomorra, and has won two awards for Best Actress, the "Premio Riccardo Cucciolla" at the Festival di Vasto San Salvo in 2006 and the "Premio Ippocampo" at the Trieste Maremetraggio Festival in 2006.
