Miriam Leone - Valeria Ferro, Squadra Criminale

Valeria Ferro, a tough and talented detective at the Turin crime squad, leads complex investigations while fighting the ghosts of her past that suddenly resurface when her mother is released from prison.

Miriam Leone is an Italian television host, actress and model. Elected Miss Catania and then Miss Italy in 2008, she then began a career as a presenter with the program Unomattina Estate on the channel Rai Uno. In 2010, she made her first steps as an actress on the small screen with the TV movie The Rhythm of Life of Rossella Izzo, then shortly after in the cinema with the film Parent and Children. She then went on to make TV movies and television presentations. In particular, she co-presents the program Mattina in famiglia from 2010 to 2013, and in 2011 hosts the award ceremony Nastro d'Argento which honors Italian cinema.

From 2015 to 2018, she plays one of the main roles in the Italian series 1992. From 2015 to 2017, she was the heroine of the series Squadra Criminale. In 2016, she landed a secondary role in the international series The Medici: Masters of Florence.

In 2019, she participates in the 2nd Festival Canneséries as a member of the jury.
